Being overwhelmed by looking at an entire book manuscript, I took my beta readers’ remaining questions and pasted them into a separate document. Then I typed out the answers to their questions as if I was talking to them.
Having that “visual” to look at while finding the places in the manuscript to make the corresponding changes was very helpful. It made the process quicker, keeping me from overthinking and resulting in fewer changes than I anticipated.
A new thing in the month of March: I joined a local in-person write-in group. I had the opportunity to meet another hope*writer member in person, and they invited me. I didn’t realize how much I missed meeting in-person!
We meet once a week at a coffeeshop to write and share progress. Additionally, we have met at a library to work on projects that are essential to our writing, but outside our main work in progress. That’s how I got this post done 😉
What tools, or visuals, have you used to get through a tough project? Have you done anything in-person recently that brought you joy?
