So, I got to do something super fun! 😁

I attended the Realm Makers annual conference! There were SO many things to participate in.

MOST amazing was the opportunity to meet my book “hero” Frank Peretti. His two most well-known novels are This Present Darkness and Piercing the Darkness.

Outside of that, there were very helpful and well delivered seminars, tons of other writers to meet, and I had two fifteen minute one-on-one mentor appointments with people in the publishing industry.

• Steve Laube, Steve Laube Agency and Enclave Publishing
• Alyssa Roat, Mountain Brook Fire
• Andrew Winch, Havok Publishing (flash fiction)

…there were many more experts, and I plan to watch the live video recordings!

I also had an unplanned opportunity to meet Cammie Larsen with Monster Ivy Publishing. Monster Ivy publishes edgy, clean fiction. Their books are typically too “edgy” for traditional Christian publishers, but too “clean” for the general market. Pretty cool.

Driving home from all those experiences at the conference, I realized I was now ready to dive all-in on my book goals. SO exciting and freeing!
